1997年，一档洋溢着欢乐氛围的秀场综艺节目《黄金夜总会》诞生。2000年，《黄金夜总会》出现人事变动，许效舜、马世莉、NONO加入。同时，节目创造出铁狮玉玲珑、福州伯、石头家族等单元。2001年，单元“铁狮玉玲珑”录制的CD及DVD热卖，让该节目成为全台湾最火爆的综艺节目。2002年，节目进行大改造，从原本欢乐无限的风格转变为优雅人文的音乐节目。2003年，三立台湾台的综艺节目《黄金夜总会》收视率达7.87，创下有线电视综艺节目新高。2004年，澎漳璨、江淑娜荣获金钟奖最佳歌唱节目主持人奖。2005年，节目人事再次变动，贺一航、聂云、罗时丰、詹雅雯加入。2006年，澎哥回归《黄金夜总会》主持，与贺一航搭档，同年节目获得金钟奖最佳音乐主持人奖。2007年，因时代变迁和环境条件变化，《黄金夜总会》停播。

SYNOPSIS In-ae who works at a cabaret seduces politicians and millionaires to make a lot of money. She is rich in materialistic sense but wants true love. One day she meets Min-woo who works at a green house to make his living after failing in lawyer exam. She is attracted to his sincerity and devotes herself to help him. They fall in love. She buys off the cabaret and let Min-woo manage it. Min-woo meets Sun-hee who sings at the cabaret and they secretly share love. Min-woo turns down In-ae's proposal but Sun-hee leaves him disappointed by his lies being with In-ae for her money. Later they run into each other at the beach in their home town but Sun-hee coldly avoids him.
